Is Protien Safe For Everyone?

First, they will “shut down” sports nutrition, then – bodybuilding … Personally, there is no other urgent and pressing topic than the attempt of the U.S. lawmakers to ban sports nutrition. And, ostensibly because of good intentions. Like, this ban will be beneficial for everybody. The manufacturers of sports nutrition will be taken in tight rein and will be forced to expose all the products under a long years testing, first on animals and then on human volunteers. And if such testing will prove its effectiveness and in addition will not detect dangerous side effects, the products will go on sale, but will be available … only on prescription
. The opponents of sports nutrition insist that the majority of the currently existing supplements – are a kind of cheating, profanity, speculation on the human desire to find a nice athletic musculature. Alas, there are no arguments to oppose.
For example, medicine insists that the protein intake above the norm (1 – 1.5 grams per kilogram of the body weight) does not affect the processes of anabolism and only overloads kidneys and liver. Moreover, the testing was not only for ordinary people but also for athletes: cyclists, joggers and skaters. However, doctors have never put their experiments on bodybuilders! But they all together say that taking large quantities of protein their muscles grow better. Unfortunately, doctors understand such statements as self-deception and do not even consider seriously. As for scientific counterarguments, and I repeat, the bodybuilders simply do not have them. Even the biggest manufacturers of the powdered protein did not make great experiments, not counting the need to spend time for proving the obvious.
So far, the only product whose use and complete safety is confirmed by the science is creatine. That’s it to be left in the free market. As for other supplements, in particular, of plant origin, they say that their use is not warranted by the science. The assurances that this or that particular plant has been used for centuries in the folk medicine are regarded as speculative.
Yes, I agree that in the manufacture of sports nutrition it is necessary to restore the order, but why prohibit sports products? I think we need more money to invest in practical research and be sure to fund the theoretical science. “Failures” in the field of supplements occur only because of our almost complete blindness in the matters of the human body arrangement. Until now, the science has not answered the main question: how do muscles grow? It is for this reason that the search of the growth stimulants for muscles is done without thinking and leads to the creation of «blank samples”. Support the sports nutrition industry! Give it money for a large-scale scientific work! That’s when we get really working and safe supplements! Don’t we?
