After careful analysis of the ingredients and dosages, having looked at a lot of verified user reviews online, and getting personal anecdotes from some female personal training clients, I've concluded that Leanbean is a better fat burner than Trimtone.

While both of these fat burners are pretty conservative in their dosages in comparison to men's fat burners, Leanbean provides more of what you need to make a difference. Take glucomannan as a prime example. This is the key dietary fiber in both products that expands in the stomach to fill you up, curb cravings and suppress the appetite. The accepted dosage to get results, based on clinical studies, is 1000 to 3000 mg. You get 1000 mg in Leanbean, which just gets into the effective range. Yet, Trimtone only gives you 100mg, which is nowhere near enough to have an effect.

Leanbean also includes a couple of favorite energy boosters that are absent from Trimtone- vitamins B6 and B12. There's also choline to boost the metabolism. While it's true that Trimtone does include caffeine anhydrous, which is not in Leanbean, the 120 mg is probably not going to make much of a difference when it comes to shedding some pounds.

I have also had personal training clients who have tried both of these fat burners. The general consensus is that LeanBean does a better job of suppressing the appetite and boosting energy levels. Neither of my clients who took Trimtone (one for six weeks and the other for three months) thought that it provided noticeable benefits on their weight loss journey.

5 Trimtone Ingredients

As already mentioned, there are only five ingredients in Trimtone to combat stubborn body fat. Health Nutrition claims that they're all the fat-burning compounds you need, so let's find out for ourselves.

1. Caffeine Anhydrous - 120mg

Caffeine anhydrous is the dried-out form of caffeine. Caffeine is well known for its ability to stimulate the central nervous and perk us up when we're feeling drowsy. But it has also been shown to have a thermogenic effect on the body, increasing the body's internal temperature. The increased heat requires energy from calories. The body must then use even more energy to bring the internal temperature back to a state of equilibrium.

Caffeine may also promote fat breakdown or lipolysis. In a 2005 rodent study, a daily dosage of 0.1% of the body weight of the rats involved in the study led to a significant increase in fat burning during the 21 days of the study. The researchers identified the active ingredient in this effect as being catecholamines.¹

Leanbean contains ten times more of this dietary fiber than you get in Trimtone. While there are 120 mg of caffeine anhydrous in Trimtone, Leanbean is a completely caffeine-free supplement.
