The DVDs that focus on strength training include Shoulders and Arms, Back and Biceps, Chest and Back, Legs and Back, Abs Ripper and Core Synergistics.

Plyometrics

Plyometrics makes up an entire DVD within the P90X workout system. Plyometrics focuses on different jumping exercise that both provide a cardiovascular workout, as well as work to strengthen the muscles and bones of the legs. Overall, there are 30 different jumping exercises included in this section of P90X.

Cardio

Some form of cardiovascular exercise can be found in every DVD within the P90X system, however, several of the DVDs specifically focus on moves and exercises that increase your heart and respiratory rate towards burning a substantial amount of calories. One of the cardio DVDs is Kenpo, which uses martial arts inspired moves to work out your body such as punches, kicks and even elbows. The aptly named CardioX also provides a cardiovascular workout through a low-impact exercise routine designed to increase the heart rate and burn calories towards fat loss.

Yoga and Stretching

Two DVDs within the P90X system revolve around stretching and relaxation. The Yoga X DVD uses largely traditional or "classic" yoga poses to twist and stretch the body in order to promote relaxation, increase flexibility and help center the mind and body. This DVD runs longer than the rest of the system at a full 90 minutes. The stretch DVD focuses on specific stretches that help limber and loosen the muscles, ligaments and tendons of the body. This both helps increase flexibility, as well has helps prevent injury by making the muscles and connecting tissues more pliable.
